I was first thinking about keep playing on TBC but Noggenfogger is 100% Horde, low population server and I’m alliance. There were littery 1 player online and 0 stuff on AH. How do I find out which US realm has the lowest pop that ALSO won’t get sharded with big servers like illidan, etc. I know about the wow realm population website but the key is the sharding which cant be answered by that website.Firemaw will likely have login queues at the release of the expansion and every major content release too. But it has a healthy population, you'll never have an issue finding a raid or arena partner. Earthshaker is pretty decent. It's a nice populated server. Lots of PUGs available and is much less likely to have queues to login for future ... Stormrage, Sargeras and Proudmoore have healthy Alliance populations. Unless its drastically changed in the past few months I would say a general breakdown goes like this :I would recommend Pyrewood Village (EU), really nice PVE server and lots of people doing low level content. Never an issue to find groups for quests or dungeons. Go US Heartseeker. It's a pvp server but it's 99% Alliance. Prob a 70-30 split. Stormrage and Sargeras are both very active Alliance realms. Personally I would also recommend Ravencrest, if you're looking for an alliance-side server. I'd like to get my fresh start on an RP realm, and while RP is kind of my focus, I'd also like to have a community around to actually play the game, in addition to RP.I want to play on a faction balanced server where I can roll with both Horde and Alliance. Like when I play on either faction I want to see people … It is a complete ghost town! I recently took a long break from wow, about a year after bfa was released due to burn out. Now that I'm in the mood to play again, I really wanted to get back in on the action. The server population somehow got extremely low since I was away.
